ACS Commercial Overhead Radiant and Tube Heaters – CORT1

Assessment duration : up to ½ day (Theory and practical assessments)

This gas safety assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of commission, service, repair and breakdown of commercial overhead radiant luminous plaque heaters and type A (flueless) and type B (flued) overhead radiant tube heaters by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

Pre-requisite to this assessment - Before this assessment may be undertaken, the candidate must hold a Certificate of Competence in the following:-

• Commercial Core Gas Safety Assessment - COCN1
• Installation first fix Commercial Appliances - ICAE1
• Installation first fix Commercial Pipework - ICPN1  (Required if pipework exceeds 35mm diameter)

• CIGA1 - Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances
• CBHP1 - Commission Service & Repair of Boosters/Compressors
