We provide structured modular training for operatives working in the oil sector which requires either compliance or mandatory training and assessments together with a recognized qualification.

Course 1

Training OFTEC 101 DOMESTIC LIGHT OIL FIRED SERVICE AND COMMISSIONING FOR PRESSURE JET APPLIANCES

This training module and assessment course is for installers who wish to become OFTEC registered as service technicians of pressure jet appliances. It covers the regulations and standards that apply to oil fired pressure jet heating installations and installation practice.

OFTEC 102 SERVICING & COMMISSIONING OF OIL AND BIO LIQUID FUELED VAPORISING APPLIANCES

This is a theory & practical course designed for experienced operatives. The aim of this course is to provide operatives with an up-to-date refreshment of regulations and take the operative through the correct procedures for commissioning/servicing vaporising oil appliances.

OFTEC 105e - Installation of Oil & Bio Liquid Fueled Fixed Combustion Appliances and Systems

This training module and assessment course is for the installer who wants to become OFTEC registered as an installation technician. It covers the regulations and the standards that apply to the oil fired installations and installations practice.

OFTEC 201 - Service & Commissioning of Oil & Bio Liquid Multi-Stage Pressure Jet Burner Fired Commercial Appliances

This training module and assessment covers the skills and knowledge relating to safety regulations, procedures and standards. Participants can work on oil installations to manufacturer’s specifications complying with current regulations and codes of practice.

OFTEC 600a - Installation of Oil Fuel Storage and Supply Systems Connected to Fixed Combustion

This training module and assessment covers the installation and maintenance of oil storage tanks in the Domestic / Light Commercial sector. The course is for installers who want to become OFTEC registered as specialists in tank installation.
