This course will provide operatives with the most up-to-date understanding of the current regulations and take the operative through the correct procedures for the commissioning and servicing of all vaporising oil appliances.

Course Overview

This is a theory & practical course designed for experienced operatives. The aim of this course is to provide operatives with an up-to-date refreshment of regulations and take the operative through the correct procedures for commissioning/servicing vaporising oil appliances.

Written Assessments

These consist of four open book written assessments. The Open Book assessments permit the use of approved reference material such as OFTEC manuals to obtain answers. All four written assessments contain either multiple questions or true/false statements.

Course Schedule

This is a one day course which is inclusive of one day assessment

Pre-Requisites

Candidates undertaking this course must either be experienced oil operatives or GAS SAFE registered.

Proof of previous qualifications will be required at the start of the course.

Eligibility

Candidates are split into three categories. Prerequisites to attend assessment are dependent on the category an operative falls into.
